Hurts Sweeps Washington
Jalen Hurts has had two complete performances thus far in the 2023 season. Both have come against Washington. Hurts threw for 319 yards and four touchdowns. He looked like an elite NFL quarterback.
Brown Makes History
A.J. Brown is the first player in NFL history with 125 receiving yards in six consecutive weeks. Throughout that stretch, he’s displayed incredible playmaking. Sunday was no different as Brown’s 16 yard touchdown catch at the end of the first half is an early candidate for catch of the year.
Sam Howell Shines
Sam Howell performed well in his first matchup against Philadelphia this season, but was supported by a great offensive game plan and an effective rushing attack. Today, Howell performed better without those supporting factors. He went 39 for 52 with 397 yards and four touchdowns.
Class of the League
With the Chiefs loss to the Broncos, the Eagles are the only one-loss team in the NFL. The 49ers, who are supposed to be Philadelphia’s greatest threat in the NFC, fell to three losses. The Eagles have yet to play their best football and are atop the NFL standings.
